It's just awe-inspiring country. It was just a place that was so gorgeous that you did everything you could to enjoy it.

We were the only ones on the whole lake, and it was glorious. It was a very well-kept secret.

When you get up there, it's just so peaceful and you just want to capture it. As many times as you paint it, it's always changing.

I can't have the mountain, but at least I've got the stream here.
